Did you know you can declutter, get organized and save a huge amount of money? For some people disorganization can cost hundreds of dollars a month and for others it can mean wasting thousands of dollars a year. Here are three main areas where clutter and disorganization cost you money. Clutter is very expensive. It costs money to acquire, maintain it and store it. It hinders the expansive feeling of prosperity and abundance because clutter often is represents second best choices, making do and living with what you don't want. Clutter narrows your focus and limits your possibilities and creates a pattern of wrong choices. Some simple organizing solutions to create money are return the items you still have with price tags on them. Have a garage sale to get rid of all the excess and multiples in your home. Give away to charity and give yourself a vacation from shopping until you can shift to the clutter free mind set and get clear on what you love and what you use. Disorganization in the kitchen can be a weekly money waster. Symptoms of a cluttered kitchen are multiples of the same items, purchasing more food than you can eat and regularly spending money on eating out because you are too disorganized to cook. Calculate the cost of your thrown out food, take away and multiple buying, times it by fifty two and you may see your vacation money going in the garbage. Good cost saving solutions are to start to declutter and organize your kitchen, fridge and pantry. An organized kitchen makes it easy to make a menu plan and a perfect grocery list which can save you money on a weekly basis. It eliminates double buying and when you add in less or no take away, saving time and money by not having to drive to the grocery store for forgotten items and a happier family your savings could be huge. The third money waster is disorganization around money. Symptoms of this are late fees for bills; lost receipts so you can't return things and not being organized enough to take advantage of early bird discounts. Clutter in this area always costs money and a little financial disorganization can amount to hundreds of dollars of wasted money over the year. Simple changes can stop the financial money drain. Some easy organizing solutions are buy a money spike for receipts so you can keep track of your purchases. Start a file or designated area for all bills. Make a memo in your phone, computer or calendar when bills are due. Take a break from shopping until you declutter and get organized and sell or donate the clutter you have now. So just think the money that is wasted on clutter can pay for the gym for a year, monthly facials, a family holiday, taking the family out for dinner once a month, reducing debt or starting an investment plan. Shifting into clutter free money management is valuing what you have and treating your money and possessions with respect. Declutter and get organized to save hundreds to thousands of dollars a year.
